Tracking dogs for the recovery of wounded big game

In this episode Matt Noss sits down with Shon Butler who is the owner of Longspur Tracking and Outfitters. We discuss his business, dog tracking, and recovery of dead and injured game. Their company tracks many different types of game including, but not limited to deer, elk, hogs and bear. We also touch on his daughter’s recovery of a 2020 US record of a Morel mushroom which was featured on Steve Rinella’s “Meat Eater.” This is a great feature on the hunting world and game recovery.
